Each information shared using the Connected Web feed is a content. Each content has a body which consists in an array of body elements.
A body element is a block of a specific type of data and it’s used to construct and render the body part of a Connected Web content.
Despite the body part of normal a rss/atom feed, which consists in a undefined html code, the body part of a Connected Web content is structured in blocks which relies on a specific type, structure and scope, in order to help parsers to understand which data is shared and to deliver it in the most efficient way by allowing to access directly to its raw version.
